I'm such a softie when it comes to animals.

I remember seeing these photos at PS 1 in which the photographer recorded insects and animals eating there prey on a white background. Basically each series started with two critters and ended with one critter and the remains of another. It was a little bit much for me.

Anyway, I know it's a snake eat mouse world, but I'm the girl who worries the mice at the pet store are going to get bought by a snake owner. And you know I just don't get people who own snakes. To me snakes belong in nature and not in your house.janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08542062911686256976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6810275052932688125.post-74710867644818406432010-04-26T08:27:22.904-07:002010-04-26T08:27:22.904-07:00The kindergarten project this spring was to watch ...The kindergarten project this spring was to watch young boa constrictor Oreo eat a real, live mouse. I've been debating whether to blog about it - maybe you did it for me!

the kid was poised and interested (her teachers and i thought she might be upset), but she treated it like a science experiment. Only two of her friends sat out, ironically, the drama queens. I suspect they were less upset about the mouse and more upset that the focus wasn't on them!

Lucy did a drawing that looks remarkably similar to this cute toy...xoxoxohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11993751439653647136noreply@blogger.com
